President Packer

Last night the Ogden LDS Institute had a once in a lifetime experience. President Boyd K Packer, President of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles, came to the Ogden Institute as the speaker of the YSA fireside! The choir I am in, the Choralaires, got to sing for him. We sang one of His favorite hymns, Come Unto Him, and we sang Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing. It was really amazing, and like I said before, it was a once in a lifetime experience! His talk was amazing! And the best part was that he gave us an apostolic blessing! It really was amazing!

Pretty cool Annica... Im sure that was a great meeting, and its so fun to read about what you are doing with music. It makes me think back to some of the fun things I did when i was young, in choir etc. Isn't music the BEST!. I will say though that the name of your choir is a bit strange,, it reminds me of the Langalaires.. ha ha,, JK... oh ya also,, in answer to the question about the biker guy ( the fat one)in my post,, NO hahah he was not really there. I just found that pic and thought it looked like Tyler's out fit. Even if you were joking , that is the answer to the question hahaha..

Jealous! Thats awesome! I went to the church office building the other day so that he could sign a book for my great gradma that just turned 100, she has known him since he was a kid so it was really cool! Even though I had to wait in a room and didn't get to meet him it was awesome!

I don't know if this comment will be appropriate on this post, but if I don't put it here, you might not see it. I think you should see Twilight. Like I said, it was entertaining. It was pretty bad, but since you've already read the books, it won't tarnish your love for them. If anything it will just make you want to read the books again because the movie is so disappointing, and it doesn't really feed your need for more Twilight. But, I can understand if you don't want the movie to ruin the images of the book you have in your head. I can see how the movie could do that.
